The foregoing petition for a writ of certiorari is granted as to the following questions: (1) whether evidence concerning the firearm at issue and statements made by the petitioner should have been excluded from trial as fruits of an unreasonable search or seizure in violation of the Fourth Amendment; and (2) whether the admission at trial of Detective Dowdye's suppression hearing testimony violated the Confrontation Clause of the Sixth Amendment and, if so, whether such error was harmless.
