ORDER

THIS MATTER having come before the Court on the pretrial motions for severance pursuant to Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 14(a) filed by Defendants Alonso Barraza-Castro, Jose Jimenez, and Sundiata Koontz; and a hearing having been held on the motions on April 7, 2010; and for the reasons stated on the record; and for good cause appearing,

IT IS on this 7th day of April 2010, hereby,

ORDERED that Defendant Sundiata Koontz's motion to sever is GRANTED and Counts 24-29, 37-39 are hereby SEVERED as to Defendant Koontz only; and it is

FURTHER ORDERED that Defendants Alonso Barraza-Castro and Jose Jimenez's motions to sever are GRANTED and Counts 16, 17, and 20 are hereby SEVERED as to Defendants Alonso Barraza-Castro and Jose Jimenez only; and it is

FURTHER ORDERED that the Court reserves on all other pretrial motions filed by these defendants, other than those explicitly addressed on the record during the April 7, 2010 hearing.
