Government of Virgin Islands v. Rodriguez

UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE THIRD CIRCUIT

decided: March 9, 1972.

GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS
v.
MANUEL RODRIGUEZ, APPELLANT

Seitz, Chief Judge, and Aldisert and Gibbons, Circuit Judges.

Author: Per Curiam

Opinion OF THE COURT

Defendant was convicted of violating the Virgin Islands statutes on assault and carrying firearms. 14 V.I.C. § 297, 23 V.I.C. § 477. He assigns several errors but they all amount to an attack on the findings of the trial court as to the credibility of the witnesses. We think the findings were amply justified on this record.

The judgment of the district court will be affirmed.
