Seiler v. Robinson

New Jersey Supreme Court

Decided: September 28, 1953.

ISAAC W. SEILER, PETITIONER-APPELLANT,
v.
ELEANOR ROBINSON, ET ALS., RESPONDENTS-RESPONDENTS

On appeal from a judgment of the Superior Court, Appellate Division, whose opinion is reported at 24 N.J. Super. 559. The justices being equally divided on the question whether the judgment of the Superior Court, Appellate Division, should be reversed, the judgment is affirmed solely because of such division, which renders any opinion by the court impossible.

For affirmance -- Justices Oliphant, Wachenfeld and Burling. For reversal -- Justices Heher, Jacobs and Brennan.
